oooOOoo I love the one where he's curled up, so precious. I had a bearded dragon [bigger/older] for about 3 months or so, they're kinda cool :aww:

Actually, I believe it is a baby Burns Dragon(Amphibolurus burnsi) ;)
Baby beardies have a different shaped head and bosy, shorter tails and still some evidence of a beard.

Lovely shot, by the way! xD
It's so cute! Would have LOVED to see it in person :3
Nice ring too c:

nah i'm pretty sure that it is a beardie. not completely newborn though.
although i agree the head is a very odd shape. it still has that spot on its head that tells them when it's light and dark

what a pretty little lizard, looks just hatched. Great macro shots of the little fella.

I'd have to agree with other people though, i've been keeping and breeding beardies for over 12 years now, and this little guy isn't one.
He's certainly a a dragon of some sort though, just not sure what kind. It can be so hard to make a positive ID on a juvenile sometimes...

Meh, your probably right then ;). Apparently there are about four-eight species of dragon in the Hunter Valley (where this guy is/was).

the body is very similar to a bearded dragon, but the head is so strange, i agree with checkers; i don't think it's a bearded dragon
